Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to meet health standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to support overall restaurant flow.
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic ingredient handling or assembly under supervision.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service operations.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety and hygiene standards.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and sanitized environment during busy banquet or catering events.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills; able to support kitchen staff with various duties including bussing and light food prep.
