Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers across designated routes
- Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed
- Manage inventory in the warehouse by organizing stock, performing routine stock checks, and maintaining accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by communicating clearly, addressing questions professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Follow route driving schedules precisely to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist with warehouse duties such as moving inventory, organizing storage areas, and preparing shipments for dispatch
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker, preferably with courier or load & unload responsibilities
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involving moving large or bulky items safely
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and dollies
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional communication abilities
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety procedures in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with delivery driver roles or courier services is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
