Achilles Coffee Roasters is seeking Baristas! As a barista you are the most important component of our company. Our high standard of service and quality begin with you, the barista, and your interactions with our customers.
A little bit about our barista position:
· Minimum of 1 year experience in specialty coffee is required.
· Latte Art experience Minimum of 1 year
· Knowledge of Working with manual espresso machines
· Capable of dialing in the espresso machines frequently through the shift
· Capable of properly crafting a pour over (weighing and grinding the beans, proper technique on pouring the water, etc)
· Point of Sale knowledge
· Capable of multi-tasking (Ex: Taking orders, while setting up drinks, and keeping an eye on pour overs)
· Customer Service – creating a welcoming and one of a kind experience for customers
· Ability to communicate professionally with customers as well as coworkers.
· Prepare and serve beverages consistently with following drink procedures
· Be knowledgeable about our coffee, food , and other items on the menu
· Keep a clean and inviting store environment for customers as well as all other team members
· The ability to work a flexible schedule based on store and company needs
· Must be available to work weekends and some Holidays.
Achilles Coffee has 5 San Diego County locations. We are a specialty coffee roaster offering 12 different orgins and roasts, we have large variety of pour overs and proudly source and roast all of our coffee in house, weekly. We are dedicated to providing the freshest ingredients to ensure you are receiving the tastiest food and cup of coffee.
