As a Security Officer Armed Security Patrol Driver in Pearland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or public emergency responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and assist with loss prevention support by reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards in accordance with site guidelines.

Support closing and opening activities, assist with crowd and traffic flow during busy periods, and provide visible security-related presence throughout the location while following all post orders and armed post protocols.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
