Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing various equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLC) and HVAC systems.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and perform necessary repairs to maintain operational efficiency.
- Conduct electrical work, including high voltage and low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for diagnostics and analysis.
- Execute welding tasks, including stick welding, to repair or fabricate components as needed.
- Operate scissor lifts safely to access elevated work areas for maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively and implement solutions.
- Provide technical support during field service calls, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R systems is preferred; technical sales experience is a plus.
- Ability to analyze problems quickly and develop efficient solutions under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Military experience is valued but not required; candidates with relevant training are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to high voltage electrical work is essential. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.68 - $45.88 per hour
