We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Front of House Manager to lead our hospitality team and ensure an exceptional experience for every guest. Duties
Typical Daily Tasks
A FOH manager’s day might include:
- Opening the restaurant
- Checking reservations
- Running staff briefing
- Supervising lunch/dinner service
- Handling customer concerns
- Supporting servers during rushes
- Closing reports and cash reconciliation

- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Manage staff schedules, supervise team members, and foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and high performance.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation, proper food handling, and adherence to sanitation procedures.
- Monitor food service quality, assist with food presentation, and support culinary staff in food production when needed.
- Implement restaurant policies related to health & safety regulations, food safety management, and sanitation standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guests leave with a positive impression.
- Manage POS system TOAST for order processing, billing, and financial operations related to front-of-house activities.
- Control costs through inventory management, waste reduction strategies, and efficient staffing practices.
- Supervise catering events, banquets, or special functions to uphold service standards in diverse settings.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on hospitality management, staff training, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management roles with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong background in culinary arts, food preparation, and kitchen management principles.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage hospitality teams effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures within the food industry.
- Experience with managing food & beverage operations including catering or banquet services is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and managing financial transactions within a restaurant setting.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
- Strong understanding of cost control measures and managing hospitality teams in fast-paced environments.
- Passion for the food industry with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences through leadership and operational excellence.
