Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit, ensuring a positive experience.
- Operate POS systems such as Square to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve high-quality matcha beverages, utilizing barista skills and matcha industry knowledge.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with precision, maintaining accurate cash drawer management.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and café environment.
- Assist with food service and basic food preparation tasks to support daily operations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods during shifts.
