Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and drive box trucks.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage during transport.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs of mileage and product counts.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required.
- Familiarity with route driving and commercial driving regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Experience operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must have a DOT certification - can help provide one.
