Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistants to join our Primary Care team across multiple office locations with positions available immediately.
In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care, support clinical operations, and ensure smooth administrative workflows in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates to assist clinicians in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Assist with clinical procedures such as medication administration, wound care, X-ray preparation, and basic life support when necessary.
- Support physicians and nurses with tasks related to dermatology, geriatrics, internal medicine, or emergency medicine as needed.
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently EPIC EHR by documenting patient encounters, updating records, and coding diagnoses using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) codes.
- Conduct patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and health maintenance strategies.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols in outpatient or inpatient settings.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; experience in primary care preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to outpatient and inpatient care.
- Ability to perform clinical tasks including vital signs measurement, specimen collection, and basic X-ray procedures if certified.
- Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and professionalism.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,500.00 per year
