A well-established manufacturing company in New Berlin is seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong machine operating experience who enjoys hands-on work in a shop environment. This role involves cutting metal stock to precise measurements using both band saws and vertical saws. The ideal candidate will have previous saw operating experience or a solid background in CNC or other machine operation. Attention to detail and the ability to read precise measurements are essential. Schedule Monday–Friday, 6:00am – 2:30/3:00pm. Pay $23–$27 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate band saws and vertical saws to cut metal stock to specified sizes
- Measure materials accurately and read fractions on a tape measure
- Inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy
- Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the shop
- Responsible for shipping and receiving duties
- Help maintain inventory and organize materials
- Support other departments when needed
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
