Maintenance Mechanic
Pay: $30.00–$36.00/hour + Shift Differential
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Training: First Shift
Job Summary
We are hiring experienced Maintenance Mechanics to support the maintenance and repair of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment. This position is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment. Experience with heat treat equipment and industrial furnaces is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
- Maintain and repair heavy industrial machinery, including furnaces and heat treat equipment.
- Perform welding, fabrication, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose equipment failures using blueprints, schematics, manuals, and precision measuring instruments.
- Repair and maintain power transmission equipment and mechanical systems.
- Assist with equipment installations, rigging, and machinery moves.
- Complete maintenance documentation and follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience maintaining heavy industrial equipment.
- Heat treat and brazing experience is a strong plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Experience with power transmission equipment and rigging.
- Forklift and overhead crane operation experience preferred.
Requirements
- Forklift and crane certification required (or ability to obtain if applicable).
- CPR, First Aid, and Hazmat training preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance work.
- Must be able to stand, bend, climb, and work around industrial equipment.
- Background check required.
- Drug screening required (THC excluded).
- Must be able to complete training on first shift before moving to the assigned schedule.
