Why This Job Exists
Our plant runs on a great team — a Dry Cleaner, Delivery Driver, Executive Shirt Press Tech, Press Tech, and retail staff — all working together to get customers' garments back to them clean, on time, and looking great. The Operations Manager helps keep that whole system running smoothly: making sure staffing is solid, checking in on quality, and being the steady hand the team can lean on wherever the day takes them.
What You'll Do
- Plan the daily delivery route and manifest
- Check in with plant staff and run quality-assurance spot checks on production work
- Conduct final inspections on completed orders before they go out
- Manage completed orders and invoicing
- Handle customer and employee issues, questions, and concerns as they come up
- Keep the plant clean and properly stocked
- Understand every workstation well enough to jump in and cover it — production, press, retail, whatever the day requires
- Supervise and support the Dry Cleaner, Delivery Driver, Executive Shirt Press Tech, Press Tech, and retail staff

Reality Check
This is an active, on-your-feet role — expect standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs at times. The plant can get warm during production and has the normal hum of equipment running. You'll be talking with customers and team members throughout the day, and no two days look exactly the same — one minute you might be reviewing an order, the next you're helping out on the floor. If you like variety and staying active, this is a good fit.
Days start at 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday — weekends off. Mondays tend to be the busiest day of the week since the plant is catching up on everything that came in over the weekend, while Fridays typically wind down earlier. Expect around 40 hours a week on average, with occasional extra hours during busier stretches.

What You'll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Solid prior team-lead or management experience — it doesn't need to be from dry cleaning or retail specifically. If you've led people where deadlines and clean outcomes mattered, we can teach you the rest of the business.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable prioritizing and delegating in a fast-moving environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Pay & Schedule
Starting pay: $17.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM start, approximately 40 hours/week (Mondays busiest, Fridays shorter, weekends off; occasional overtime during busy periods)
