We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an individual with 1–3 years of commercial construction experience who is looking to develop a long-term career in project management. Working directly with our Construction Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in estimating, scheduling, project administration, budgeting, and field operations while receiving mentorship from experienced construction professionals.

Position Summary
The Assistant Project Manager supports the successful planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role assists with estimating, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontractor coordination, project documentation, and client communication to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Belt Construction's quality standards.

Responsibilities
· Assist in preparing project estimates, budgets, and proposals.
· Support the Construction Manager in defining project scope, schedules, and resource requirements.
· Assist with obtaining permits and coordinating with local building departments and regulatory agencies.
· Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software.
· Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries to support project schedules.
· Prepare and track Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, shop drawings, and other project documentation.
· Monitor project costs and assist with budget tracking and forecasting.
· Conduct jobsite visits to monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with contract documents.
· Assist with change orders, procurement, and project closeout documentation.
· Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
· Maintain accurate project records using Procore and other project management software.
· Report project progress, challenges, and schedule updates to the Construction Manager.
· Support Belt Construction's commitment to safety, quality, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
