Staff will provide 1:1 support in the community and in the home implementing the following:
- Communication support
- Planning meaningful activities in the community and home
- Engaging in meaningful activities throughout the day
- Increasing opportunities for independence by teaching communication personal hygiene, functional academics, rec/leisure activities, social skills and daily living
- Implementing behavioral plan strategies and protocols
Participant enjoys many activities such as rock climbing, writing, exercise classes, and going out to eat. Participant communicates via a letterboard and previous experience is preferred, however willingness to learn is acceptable.
Scheduling opportunity:
Weekdays from 12-5 PM
Weekdays from 5-10 PM
Qualifications and Skills
1 year minimum experience working with children with Autism/Special Needs required.
Have proof of current auto insurance, valid unexpired driver's license and reliable transportation.
Clear background check/fingerprinting, driving record and references
