We are looking for local applicants who would like to join our team at a family owned and locally trusted NAPA AUTO PARTS Store!
Note: Currently, this is a part-time position for two days a week (Monday and Saturday only). May eventually become full-time, based on dependable performance and commitment to quality work.
Our Parts Specialists and Delivery Drivers are the backbone of our business, delivering excellent customer service and knowledge to our long standing customers. Our know how is the reason our customers continue to come back, and we depend on our Counter Sales and Delivery Team to exemplify our commitment to quality and service.
Qualifications:
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver parts and products to customers on assigned routes.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, verifying orders, and ensuring accurate deliveries.
- Load, unload, and secure parts in the delivery vehicle to prevent damage during transport.
- Assist in the store when not on deliveries, including stocking shelves, pulling orders, assisting customers and general warehouse duties.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Represent NAPA Auto Parts in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Operate the store point of sale system to search for parts and customer accounts, and to invoice and pull orders.
- Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends.
- Work as part of a team to achieve store sales goals and performance targets.
- Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude as well as professional conduct and appearance at all times.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED –
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and services.
- At least one year of retail/and or auto parts experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with POS and cataloging systems
- Willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude
- Must be 18 years or older
- Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
