A Recreation Attendant at The Westin Huntsville supports the hotel’s pool, fitness, and guest‑activity areas. The role focuses on guest service, facility cleanliness, safety, and activity coordination to ensure guests have a relaxing, enjoyable stay.
Guest Assistance — Welcome guests to the pool, fitness center, and recreation areas; provide towels, equipment, and information about amenities.
Facility Monitoring — Observe pool and recreation spaces to maintain safety, cleanliness, and proper guest usage.
Activity Support — Assist with hotel activities such as wellness classes, family events, or seasonal programs.
Equipment Management — Set up, distribute, and store recreation equipment (towels, mats, games, pool items).
Cleanliness & Presentation — Maintain tidy pool decks, locker rooms, and fitness areas; restock supplies.
Safety Awareness — Enforce pool rules, report hazards, and respond to minor guest concerns.
Guest Engagement — Promote hotel amenities, answer questions, and provide local recommendations.
Administrative Tasks — Track towel inventory, sign out equipment, and assist with activity schedules.
Customer Service Experience preferred (hospitality, retail, or recreation).
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
