Responsibilities
- Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring presentation quality and temperature are maintained.
- Assist with food plating and garnishing to meet restaurant standards before delivery to guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special requests or modifications.
- As part of the bussing team you will be clearing used dishes and maintaining cleanliness around service stations.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
- Monitor the flow of orders during busy periods to prevent delays and optimize service efficiency.
- Maintain a positive, energetic attitude while managing multiple tasks in a lively environment, supporting overall guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with food handling, plating, and basic culinary procedures enhances performance in this role.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for understanding order processing.
- Prior banquet or catering experience can be beneficial for managing large-volume service settings.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential for delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices ensures compliance and safety at all times.
