EQUINOXX AVIATION SERVICES is looking for a conscientious, detail-oriented Avionics Technician, with a background in the aircraft or automobile industry.
Our Avionics Technician will be a key member of our team and will contribute significantly to our growing reputation as the place our customers trust for maintenance of their aircraft. Our Avionics Technician will have opportunities to succeed by working with our technical teams to help improve our processes, maintenance efficiency, and customer recognized quality.
Job responsibilities include:
- Under limited direction, performs the removal/installation of avionics components, fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional tests of avionics systems.
- Reassembles aircraft interior, instrument panels, and avionics equipment bays following the successful installation of wiring avionics systems and components.
- Ensures all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector.
- Troubleshoots and repair all avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft including Garmin, Aspen, Genesys, Avidyne
- Learns, understands, and follows the Company work order and parts requisition process as written.
- Reads and understands aircraft wiring schematics

Required:
- High school diploma
- Garmin installation experience a plus
- 1+ years of avionics experience
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Excellent analytical, attention-to-detail, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
- Repairman Certificate and/or Aircraft Certificate Plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
