This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and professional individual who is interested in learning about corporate catering and restaurant management. Hours are Monday-Friday day time (rarely a weekend) and will vary between 30-40 per week.
Catering coordinators work within the team to prep for the next day’s caterings and make deliveries. Typical duties include pulling dry goods, assembling dessert trays, organizing and restocking catering products and following up with clients. Coordinators may also be apart of an off premise team for larger events.
General Expectations and Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with all guests and catering clients in a friendly and timely manner.
- Answer phone call and handle caller’s request or call-in order.
- Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and all menu promotions.
- Maintain expected standard of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant.
- Perform and maintain all catering duties to ensure total cleanliness and a smooth operation. This includes but is not limited to: receiving and processing client orders, pulling dry goods, prepping dessert trays, catering inventory, building client relationships, delivery & setting up catering orders at client locations, maintaining client paperwork.
- Prepare all items using standing recipes, measurements, and procedures.
- All other duties as directed by members of management.
Specific Job Requirements:
- Ability to learn and use a POS (Point of Sale) computer to ring up orders.
- Ability to learn and use all equipment necessary to perform specific job requirements.
- Ability to work within all physical requirements of the position which include but are not limited to: walking and standing during an entire shift, reaching, bending, carrying, stooping, wiping, lifting and emptying trashcans, and ability to move or handle up to 30 pounds.
- Knowledge and practice of all safety expectations throughout the restaurant.
- All positions may have frequent contact/immersion of hands with water, sanitation solutions, and cleaning products.

Previous experience with managing and/or hiring are a plus
