For over 25 years, Hand In Hand has been a trusted leader in early childhood education, serving families throughout the Marion, Cedar Rapids, and Hiawatha communities. We believe children learn best through play, exploration, positive relationships, and developmentally appropriate experiences—and we're looking for teachers who share that vision.
What You'll Do
- Create and implement engaging weekly lesson plans using developmentally appropriate practices.
- Foster a warm, nurturing classroom where every child feels valued.
- Encourage social, emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.
- Build positive partnerships with families through daily communication.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Lead your classroom with positivity, teamwork, and professionalism.
- Guide children using positive behavior support and respectful interactions.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Loves working with preschool-aged children.
- Is energetic, creative, patient, and dependable.
- Has experience/education in early childhood education (preferred).
- Meets or is willing to obtain Iowa childcare licensing requirements.
- Works well as part of a collaborative team.
- Is passionate about helping children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
