American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Stepdown Unit position requiring night shift availability, ACLS and NIH certifications, and at least 1 year of stepdown experience.

Stepdown Unit in a hospital setting

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Weekends required
-
13-week contract

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Minimum 1 year of stepdown experience required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Epic charting experience preferred

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

No travel pairs or groups accepted

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
