Professional Event DJ

Contract Position | $200–$1,000 per event
We’re a professional, high-end event entertainment company seeking reliable, skilled DJs to join our growing team. Most of our bookings are weddings, with additional private parties and corporate events throughout the year.
This is a contract (1099) role with flexible scheduling. We provide the bookings, systems, support, and expectations — you bring professionalism, music knowledge, and strong execution.
Typical Compensation for a standard service.
- $200 for assistant level.
- $250-400 for DJ's using some amount of our equipment
- $500–$600 per event for DJs using their own gear and being high level.
- $700-1,000+ per event for veteran DJs handling multiple sound systems, multiple effects, based on our top standards.
Smaller events with varying pay are available on occasion as well.
Pay is per event, based on experience, role, and scope.
What You’ll Be Doing
- DJing weddings, private parties, and corporate events
- Mixing and selecting music appropriate to the event and crowd
- (For weddings) Acting as MC: making announcements, guiding timelines, and keeping events flowing
- Coordinating with planners, venues, and our internal team
- Representing a professional brand in appearance, communication, and conduct
What We’re Looking For
- Strong music knowledge and mixing ability
- Professional demeanor and reliability
- Comfortable performing in formal and upscale environments
- Ability to read a crowd and adapt musically
- Clear communication before, during, and after events
Wedding experience is a plus but not required.
We’re open to club DJs, mobile DJs, and experienced performers who are willing to learn the event/wedding format.
Requirements
DJ equipment suitable for professional events (controller, laptop, backup basics, speakers) If you don't have all the gear we can often supplement but your starting pay can go down depending on how much we're providing.
