Paraprofessional (Levels 1, 2 & 3) – 2026/2027 School Year

Allied OneSource is seeking Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year in Kansas City, Kansas. We have multiple openings available for Paraprofessional Levels 1, 2, and 3 across various grade levels and educational settings. These positions provide an opportunity to work directly with students and educational teams to support academic, behavioral, social, and developmental growth.
As a contracted Paraprofessional, you will play an important role in helping students succeed by providing classroom support, implementing instructional strategies, and assisting with individualized student needs.
Responsibilities
- Support students in classroom, small-group, and one-on-one instructional settings
- Assist teachers with implementing lesson plans and instructional activities
- Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students
- Help reinforce IEP goals and classroom accommodations as directed by the teacher
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to instructional staff
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and daily routines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families as needed
- Support students with personal care and mobility needs when required by the assignment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Paraprofessional certification, college coursework, or district-required qualifications preferred based on position level
- Experience working with children or individuals with diverse learning and behavioral needs preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a school setting
- Commitment to supporting student success and inclusive educational practices
