Responsibilities
- Mow lawns using push mowers, riding mowers, or other power tools to achieve a clean, professional appearance.
- Trim trees, bushes, and hedges with hand tools or power equipment to maintain proper shape and health.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, pruning, mulching, and planting to enhance curb appeal.
- Operate machinery including excavators and other construction equipment for site preparation or hardscape installation.
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure proper watering schedules.
- Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects and maintenance tasks.
Experience
- Prior experience with lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of landscape maintenance practices including mowing, tree care, gardening, and hardscape installation.
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing techniques, and general maintenance tasks will help you succeed in this role.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety procedures and work efficiently outdoors in varying weather conditions.
