Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions in pediatrics.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems using athena health for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
- Provide health care for newborns through young adults.
- Provide telehealth consultations leveraging telemedicine platforms to extend care access beyond traditional settings.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification in your practicing state.
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric care.
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems including Athenahealth; experience with medical documentation and CPT coding is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and medical terminology.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations efficiently while demonstrating compassion for diverse populations including pediatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Pay: $100,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
