Program Assistant (Christian Ministry)
$17-$19/hour; 15-25 hours/week
About Cincy at the Well
Cincy at the Well is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to bringing the life-changing love of Jesus to women in the sex industry, including those facing exploitation and trafficking, throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Through direct outreach, relational support, and coordinated resource connections, we help women move toward safety, stability, and hope.
With new funding secured to expand our outreach into unreached areas of Northern Kentucky, we are seeking a Program Assistant to support outreach operations, resource coordination, volunteer engagement, and administrative functions that strengthen and sustain our ministry efforts.
Position Overview
The Program Assistant will:
- Participate in outreach efforts throughout Northern Kentucky and occasionally Greater Cincinnati.
- Support volunteers and outreach operations.
- Assist with resource coordination and referral follow-up.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to outreach activities.
- Support community engagement efforts through churches, partner organizations, and events.
- Assist with administrative projects that support ministry growth and sustainability.
This position reports directly to the Program Director.
Core Responsibilities
Outreach Support
- Prepare and organize materials needed for outreach activities.
- Participate in weekly and monthly outreach opportunities.
- Assist with maintaining safe, welcoming, and mission-aligned outreach environments.
- Serve as the designated staff representative during assigned outreach activities.
- Document outreach interactions and required grant metrics.
- Assist with outreach preparation, setup, and follow-up.
Volunteer Support
- Assist volunteers during outreach activities.
- Provide logistical guidance and support during assigned outreach events.
- Track volunteer participation and service hours.
- Support implementation of volunteer training and outreach procedures.
Resource Navigation & Partner Support
- Coordinate with the Program Director regarding participant needs and referrals.
- Assist with resource distribution and referral follow-up.
- Document referral attempts and outcomes.
- Support communication and scheduling with community partners as assigned.
- Assist with coordinating partner participation in outreach activities and resource fairs.
Administrative Support
- Maintain outreach documentation and case notes.
- Track data for grant reporting and program evaluation.
- Assist with donor acknowledgments and mailings.
- Support social media scheduling and content preparation.
- Help maintain resource directories and outreach materials.
- Assist with resource center organization and inventory management.
- Support administrative projects as assigned.
Community Engagement Support
- Represent Cincy at the Well at community events, resource fairs, and partner activities as assigned.
- Assist with church engagement opportunities and volunteer recruitment events.
- Support community outreach initiatives and partnership activities.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must:

Preferred Experience
- Experience in ministry, outreach, case management, social services, or volunteer coordination.
- Training in trauma-informed care.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
The Program Assistant must:
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Walk and stand for extended periods.
- Move safely over uneven terrain.
- Work in environments where cigarette smoke may be present.
- Respond appropriately in unpredictable situations.
- Engage directly with women experiencing crisis, instability, or trauma.
Schedule
This position includes a combination of outreach activities, community engagement, and administrative responsibilities.
Additional schedule expectations include:
- Weekly evening outreach on Thursdays is required.
- Most outreach occurs during daytime hours.
- Availability for one or two Saturdays per month for up to a four-hour shift is required.
- Administrative hours are highly flexible.
- Outreach schedules and locations may evolve as programs expand.
Compensation & Benefits
- $17-$19 per hour, depending on experience.
