As proven leaders in Florida's yard waste recycling, Veransa Group, Inc. serves public and private customers through daily yard waste management and emergency response storm debris processing. We work hard, fast, clean, and green—every time! Located entirely in Florida, with facilities throughout Tampa Bay and multiple Municipal contracts throughout Central Florida, from the west coast to the east coast.
We are currently looking for a talented, experienced Excavator Operator with Grinding experience for the East Coast of Florida with occasional work on the West Coast.
Job Summary:
- Ability to operate heavy equipment in a productive, efficient and safe manner.
- Perform daily maintenance and tracking of hours on utilized equipment.
- Ability to take direction from supervisors to complete daily tasks and meet job site goals.
- Ability to work with co-workers efficiently as a team.
- Must be willing to travel with in the State of Florida, with Company provided per diems and hotels, as well as Travel pay.
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
- Hourly position with paid overtime after 40 hours per week.
Requirements include:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment – Excavator Track Hoe and Grinder.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, which includes being outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
