We are seeking an Office Assistant to support our Residential Property Management Team. This operational role combines desk-based administrative work with local, on-the-road duties. You will interact with residents, vendors, inspectors, etc. both in the office and out at our properties.
- Manage Communications: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and greet office visitors.
- Administrative Support: File documents, assist in rent collections, court dealings, utility billings, and other general office tasks as assigned.
- Maintenance Coordination: Receive tenant work orders and dispatch maintenance technicians.
On-the-Road Duties
- Property Inspections: Schedule and attend city inspections, meet with utility and/or insurance companies, and periodic property walkthroughs.
- Lockbox Management: Install and update mechanical or electronic lockboxes on units.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1+ years in office administration, customer service, or real estate/property management preferred
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a reliable, insured personal vehicle (gas stipend).
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and capability to learn property management software. Appfolio familiarity a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Organization: Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to work independently in the field.
