We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Two-Year-Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods suitable for two-year-olds.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and social interaction among toddlers.
- Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor activities with patience and professionalism.
- Use effective behavior management strategies to promote positive social skills and emotional regulation among young children.
- Collaborate with families to communicate developmental progress, address concerns, and support early intervention strategies when needed.
- Incorporate specialized techniques for working with children with special needs or those requiring additional support through early intervention programs.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of each child's growth in areas such as childhood development, language acquisition, and motor skills; utilize standardized testing when appropriate to track progress.
- Plan engaging lessons that foster curiosity and foundational skills in literacy, math, and physical education while aligning with early childhood education standards.
- Maintain detailed records of classroom activities, child progress reports, and incident documentation to ensure compliance with childcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children aged two years old in a daycare or preschool setting; preschool experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development including Montessori methods, literacy education, math instruction, and lesson planning tailored for toddlers.
- Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists in child welfare.
- Ability to implement teaching physical education activities that promote motor skills development in young children.
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields; additional training in toddler care or daycare management is advantageous.
