Overview
An established construction firm is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to independently manage projects from bid support through final owner acceptance. This position carries full responsibility for project execution, financial performance, and overall delivery.
The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for owners and design partners and ensures projects are completed in accordance with contract requirements, schedule, budget, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Act as owner contact to assess project scope, staffing, and resources
Establish project objectives, policies, and procedures aligned with company standards
Coordinate project startup meetings, progress meetings, and closeout activities
Manage subcontract buyout, scope reviews, and purchase orders
Develop and maintain project schedules, submittal logs, material tracking, and milestones
Build budgets and cost codes from estimates and manage financial reporting
Oversee on site construction through direction of the Project Superintendent
Process RFIs, change orders, notifications, and potential claims
Monitor schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance
Conduct project meetings and document progress, decisions, and risks
Maintain accurate project records, reports, and progress photos
Report directly to the Project Executive
Qualifications
Four year engineering degree or equivalent experience
Minimum five years of construction management or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of cost control, scheduling, and contract administration
