Job Description
AC4S is seeking an experienced repatriation services coordinator to join our team! The Repatriation Services Coordinator and Operations Manager ensures the seamless and comprehensive support of returnees and their families. This role is a dual function, combining strategic benefits coordination and case management with hands-on, day-to-day operational execution. This position is the primary driver for ensuring that returnees receive immediate support upon arrival and have continuous access to the full suite of benefits, services, and resources authorized by law and policy.
Key Responsibilities
Arrival and Reintegration Logistics: Act as the operational lead for returnee arrivals, managing all logistics for ground transport, lodging, and immediate needs like clothing, food, and hygiene products. Respond immediately to short-notice and emergency situations, providing rapid, problem-solving and coordination.
Benefits and Case Management: Manage a caseload of complex and sensitive returnee cases. Enroll returnees in health insurance programs, resolve claims issues, and facilitate access to mental health services, with a high priority on trauma-informed care.
Provide light case management, including needs assessments and service referrals, to ensure a smooth reintegration process.
Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination: Serve as a primary liaison with medical providers, insurers, government agencies, NGOs, and service partners to ensure efficient and uninterrupted service delivery.
Data and Compliance: Track and maintain all benefit-related data and operational records for compliance and reporting to the Department of State. Provide real-time reporting on expenditures, services delivered, and operational activities.
Training and Education: Deliver training and educational sessions to returnees and their families on available services and how to properly utilize them.
Education
Associates degree or 3-5 years’ experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
US Citizen and reside in the US
Eligible for a Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
Able to work an alternative schedule to ensure 24/7/365 operations.
Able to travel worldwide, as needed.
Office computers and equipment, telephones, radios, Microsoft Office suite of tools, Web Based Applications, electronic spreadsheets and database analysis, outputs, and reporting, virtual data sharing platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, etc.) and other forms of remote work-sharing tools.
Must be able to sit, stand, and work at a computer for long periods of time. Ability up to lift 25lbs on occasion, stretching, climbing stairs, and walking
