McDonough’s Restaurant & Lounge is Looking for Door Guy Staff!
Must be 21 years of age or older, have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and ability to interact in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Checking & Ensuring Guests are 21+ years of age for Business Entry
- Crowd Control & Building Capacity Restrictions
- Respond promptly to incidents, utilizing conflict management techniques and law enforcement collaboration when necessary
- Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting
- Manage loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism activities and implementing preventative measures
Qualifications:
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks during incident responses
- Strong communication skills for performing ID checks, coordinating with emergency responders, and managing conflict situations
- Familiarity with law enforcement procedures, security protocols, and legal considerations related to security work
- A proactive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure in high-stress situations
- Prior Military Service
- Professional work ethic, attention to detail, & punctuality a must

- Shift:
- 7 hour shift (9PM - 4AM Thursday - Sunday Availabilty)
- Experience:
- Bar experience: 2 years (Preferred)
