About the Role
ShareSTAFF is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for anticipated contract assignments at an Acute Care Hospital / Inpatient Hospital in Shiprock, NM. This Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse role provides inpatient nursing care within the acute-care hospital setting in Shiprock, NM. The RN will provide direct patient care on the Med-Surg unit, including assessment, care planning, medication administration, monitoring, documentation, and coordination with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Nurses will work 12-hour day or night shifts and must have strong recent inpatient Med-Surg experience. This opportunity is anticipated pending contract award.

What You'll Do
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and record medical history, symptoms, and observations
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and monitor patients for response
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate to the physician and care team
- Develop, implement, and update patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Operate and monitor medical equipment and assist with diagnostic tests as needed
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Document care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Adhere to facility policies, regulatory standards, and the state Nurse Practice Act / scope of practice
What You Bring - Required
- Minimum of 36 months of nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty required by the contract, which for this position is Medical-Surgical nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support
What You Bring - Preferred
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
