Warehouse Associate – Feed Distribution & Retail
Location: Great American Supply – Taylors, SC
Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour / $15 after probationary period
Position Summary
Great American Supply is seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring our warehouse and retail operations run efficiently by receiving, stocking, pulling, loading, and delivering feed and agricultural products. We are looking for a motivated, self-starting individual who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and is committed to providing excellent customer service.
Essential Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Continuously lift and move 50-pound bags of feed throughout the workday.
- Pull and stage customer and dealer orders accurately.
- Assist customers by loading purchases into vehicles.
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and retail environment.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (training available if needed).
- Rotate inventory and ensure proper product organization.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization.
- Work closely with fellow team members to complete daily tasks and meet customer needs.
- Perform other warehouse and retail duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to continuously lift and handle 50-pound bags throughout the workday.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, "get the job done" attitude.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Customer service mindset and willingness to assist retail customers.
- Forklift experience preferred but not required.
- Previous warehouse, feed, agriculture, or distribution experience is a plus.
- Must be able to work in varying indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently and continuously lift, carry, push, and pull 50-pound bags.
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, and climb throughout the shift.
- Work in a physically demanding environment for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
