```
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van or box truck to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using a pallet jack or forklift as needed
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Verify the contents of each shipment against delivery documents and obtain necessary signatures
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the delivery vehicle to ensure its proper functioning
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices
- Familiarity with using navigation systems or maps to plan routes
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Skills:
- Van driver experience
- Warehouse operations knowledge
- Ability to handle heavy lifting
- Experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles
- Proficiency in operating a pallet jack or forklift
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers is a plus
- Forklift certification is a bonus
