We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and reliable Server to join our team at Rooster Diner. As a staple in the local community, our diner prides itself on fast service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a smile and provide excellent customer service from entry to exit.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve meals and refills promptly, ensuring food quality meets our standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bussing and resetting tables.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service during peak hours (breakfast/lunch rushes).
- Perform side work such as rolling silverware, stocking stations, and cleaning.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Server (Diner or high-volume restaurant experience is a plus).
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure during busy shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic—we value team players!
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
