This role combines customer service, sales, store organization, and daily store upkeep. We're looking for a true people person who enjoys building relationships, helping customers find the perfect piece, and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
Customer service experience is a plus, but jewelry experience is not required—we are happy to train the right candidate. This position is ideal for college students, semi-retired individuals, parents returning to the workforce, or anyone seeking supplemental income in a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers
- Learn about fine jewelry, watches, and gift merchandise
- Support sales and customer service efforts
- Organize displays, merchandise, and inventory
- Create content for Facebook and Instagram
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment, including showcases, office areas, kitchen, and restroom
- Take initiative and stay productive during slower periods
- Work as part of a team to create an exceptional customer experience
Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- Friendly, reliable, and professional
- Strong communication and people skills
- Basic computer, social media, and math skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and willing to learn
Schedule
- Approximately 8–18 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling
- Typical shifts are 4–6 hours
- Availability for 1–2 Saturdays per month required (9:30 AM–2:30 PM)
- Additional hours may be available during summer and holiday seasons
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $14–15 per hour plus commission opportunities
