Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Drive a truck to deliver sheets or glass boxes to the customer's job site.

Check vehicles to ensure fragile mechanical products and safety equipment are in good working condition.

Follow proper safety procedures for transportation.

Maintain records of work hours following applicable state and federal regulations.

Cash checks from some customers when needed.
-
Record delivery information on packing lists.
-
Picks up or picks up empty containers or rejected goods.
-
Load the truck and secure the products to prevent damage.
-
Gets the customer's signature on the delivery receipt.
-
Clean the inside of the truck.
-
Perform daily inspections on trucks.
-
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Job Requirements:

Valid Commercial Driver's License CDL (Class A)
-
Experience: Minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
-
Compliant with DOT and FMCSA Regulations
-
Functional proficiency of the English Language per DOT requirements for safe operation

Punctuality and flexibility
-
Strong customer service skills
