Responsibilities
- Prepare and present sushi dishes with precision and artistry
- Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained in the kitchen
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Monitor inventory levels of sushi ingredients and place orders as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques
- Stay updated on industry trends to continually enhance menu offerings
