The Replenisher is responsible for the correct transfer, weighing, labeling, scanning, and locating of materials to maintain a kanban system of containers used for dispensing raw material used by compounders. This position directly reports to Production Manager/Fragrance.
Key Responsibilities:

Review the Kanban system several times daily to determine what raw materials need to be replenished to maintain levels above the minimum amounts.

Look up QC approved stock in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and retrieve required raw materials.

Check materials for product, lot number, color, odor and other characteristics.

Identify any material shortages and notify supervisor of shortage of materials needed to replenish.
- Communicate with Material Handlers to pull materials from warehouse stock when needed.

Select and bring appropriate container to be replenished to the designated work area.

Label container with appropriate labels.
- Inspect exterior and interior of containers before filling and handling.

Accurately pour raw materials using scales.

Maintain clean and safe work area, and adheres to safety regulations and procedures, understanding the hazards of handling the various chemicals.

Follow all safety rules/procedures and maintain an accident and on-the-job injury free record.

Compliance with all relevant GMP and SQF procedures and regulations.

Report problems to management.

Maintain housekeeping of assigned areas.

Other production related tasks as assigned.
Education & Experience:
-
High School Diploma or equivalency
- Basic Math and use of computers
- A minimum two years of production experience as an Order Filler, Material Handler, or Compounder

Utility or, equivalent experience in the Flavor & Fragrance Industry.
Skills and/or Physical Requirements:

Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be capable of physically standing, walking and capable of lifting/carrying on the average of 50 lbs. for 8 – 10 hours a day

Must be able to work overtime as needed

Must be able to work in production environment
- Computer usage skills, math for measurements, and record keeping organization skills

Safely be able to use of hand trucks, drum trucks, air mixers, and pumps

Compensation -$22 an hr. to $25 an hr. and eligibility to participate in discretionary bonus programs
