Vice President, Broadband | OmniCable

Currently, we are seeking highly accomplished and visionary leader to join our organization as the Vice President, Broadband in the Communications Business Unit.
The VP, Broadband reports to the Vice President of Business Development and Sales Enablement and is responsible for overseeing sales performance, strategic growth, and customer retention within the channel to support the growth and profitability of the Broadband business segment. You will be responsible for driving growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across the channel while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous process improvement. The VP Broadband will focus on people development, customer retention, and new growth initiatives related to company-wide goals and objectives both in the immediate one-year as well as a three-year view of the business.
Strategic Planning and Execution:

Develop and execute the company's enterprise-wide strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives, focusing on growth, market expansion, and operational excellence.

Collaborate with executive leadership to set performance targets, define KPIs, and monitor progress, ensuring effective implementation and adjustment of strategic initiatives as needed.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions to drive revenue growth and enhance the company's competitive positioning.
Operational Excellence:

Oversee the operations of multiple business units, ensuring effective coordination and synergy across functions to optimize operational efficiency and deliver exceptional customer service.

Identify and implement best practices and standardized processes to improve sales productivity, reduce costs, and enhance operational scalability.

Continuously monitor industry trends, technologies, and customer needs to identify areas for innovation and improvement within the enterprise.
Customer Relationship Management:

Drive a customer-centric approach throughout the organization, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences across all business units.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop customer-focused strategies and initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as a trusted advisor and champion for their needs within the enterprise.
Leadership and Team Development:

Build and lead a high-performing broadband team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and professional development opportunities.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and cross-functional cooperation.

Develop talent pipelines and succession plans to ensure a strong bench of future leaders across business units.
Risk Management and Compliance:

Identify and manage enterprise-wide risks, including operational, financial, legal, and reputational risks.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and internal policies.

Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Work Experience
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise management, preferably within the distribution or logistics industry.

Proven track record of driving enterprise-wide growth and operational excellence, including experience with business expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Strategic and visionary mindset, with the ability to anticipate market trends and proactively position the enterprise for success.

Demonstrated experience in change management, driving organizational transformation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
