Ho'olawa Retail Sales Associate: Part-time (weekend availability required)

- Store Hours 9am-7:00pm
Ho'olawa is a small business that specializes in selling earth-friendly products, emphasizing local Hawaiʻi brands. We are a local one-stop shop for all eco-lifestyle alternatives including Beach Apparel, Bikinis, Beauty & Bath products (lots of local soap!) and Home Goods.
Duties:
- Engage with our customers providing excellent customer service
- Educate customers about eco-alternatives
- Process sales transactions with POS sytem
- Manage cash sales
- Process inventory
- Merchandise the shop, greet customers with aloha and retain knowledge about all of the products that we sell!
- Maintain organizition of floor and backroom
Required skills:
- Good communicator with the ability to utilize technology effectively and engage with customers and your team to meet goals.
- Problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement, open to feedback and takes action as required.
- Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally.
- Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems
- Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on- the-job training
- Able to work in a non-corporate environment.
- Able to work both alone and in a team environment.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
