Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager - Civil to lead and oversee complex civil infrastructure projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, and ensure all construction activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in civil construction management will drive project success, deliver high-quality results, and foster strong client relationships. Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate construction activities effectively.
- Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, forecasting expenditures, and implementing cost control measures using HeavyBid or equivalent estimating tools.
- Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, specifications, and blueprints utilizing Civil 3D and other design software.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progression.
- Ensure compliance with all construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for document control, progress tracking, and quality assurance.
- Lead site inspections to monitor construction progress, verify adherence to plans, and address any issues promptly.
- Manage contract administration including reviewing contracts, change orders, and ensuring scope compliance.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by managing teams in a construction management role while promoting safety awareness and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing large-scale civil or heavy infrastructure projects with a strong understanding of construction scheduling and cost management.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance within the civil sector.
- Hands-on construction site experience with a solid understanding of blueprint reading and construction plans.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with contracts administration including reviewing agreements and change orders.
- Construction estimating experience is highly desirable for accurate budgeting purposes.
- A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred; relevant certifications such as PMP or OSHA are advantageous.

Pay: $89,212.49 - $107,438.70 per year
