Job Summary

Duties
- Develop engaging lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels across multiple art forms such as theater, dance, visual arts, or crafts.
- Plan and implement interactive lessons that incorporate creative techniques like photography, sewing, ballet, or cooking to foster artistic exploration.
- Manage classroom environments effectively by establishing clear expectations, maintaining positive behavior, and ensuring safety during activities.
- Facilitate hands-on workshops and performances that encourage active participation and self-expression among students.
- Adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of learners with diverse backgrounds, including those in special education or residential-home settings.
- Document program activities through our CRM and participant feedback to continuously improve offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching or instructing in arts disciplines such as music, visual arts, dance, etc.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to foster a respectful and motivating environment.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and education best practices.
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support positive learning experiences.
