We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join the leadership team for an exciting upscale steakhouse concept. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile restaurant opening and help shape the culinary culture, standards, and guest experience from day one.

Duties
- Partner closely with the Executive Chef to execute and maintain the restaurant’s culinary vision and standards
- Lead daily kitchen operations, including line execution, prep, expediting, and quality control
- Assist with menu development, recipe execution, and seasonal offerings
- Train, mentor, and inspire culinary team members while fostering a positive and accountable kitchen culture
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- Support inventory management, ordering, scheduling, and labor controls
- Help drive a memorable and elevated dining experience for every guest
- Assist with all aspects of restaurant opening preparation, systems implementation, and operational readiness
Skills
- Minimum 3–5 years of Sous Chef experience in an upscale steakhouse or fine dining environment
- Previous pre-opening restaurant experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of steak preparation, butchery, sauces, seafood, and upscale culinary techniques
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining exceptional standards
- Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and guest satisfaction
