Robinson School, an English-language college preparatory school in San Juan, is actively seeking a highly qualified long term substitute for the current school year to teach Design and Technology in our middle and upper school. This is a contract / long-term sub teaching position with initial term August 3 through September 5, 2026, with potential to extend.
Requirements – Design Technology Teacher:
· Dynamic, engaging and committed 21st-century educator
· Student-centered, interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning
· Expertise in Design Thinking and Technology instruction, as well as modern pedagogical approaches
· Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual needs and achieve high level outcomes for all students
· Highly experienced in the integration of educational technology in all subject areas, particularly in Design
· A commitment to be an active participant in school and community life
· A willingness and/or ability to serve as a homeroom teacher, sponsor student clubs, activities or organizations
· Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
· A record as a strong collaborator and contributing team member
· Experience in developing high quality Design and Technology curriculum
· The ability to gather, analyze and use student achievement data to adapt curriculum and instruction
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field, required
· Masters' Degree in Instructional/Educational Technology, Information Technology or related field, preferred
· Microsoft 365, required
· Programming/Coding experience, preferred
· Teaching experience in the subject area
