Position: Full-Time Thai Specialty Cook
Annual Wage:$44,000 – $49,000, depending on experience.
BTW OR LLC dba Baitong on Wheels is seeking a qualified Thai Specialty Cook to join our culinary team.
Job Duties

Prepares and cooks food using Thai culinary expertise.

Collaborates with other personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus, considering seasonal availability of ingredients and the expected number of customers.

Determines how food should be presented and creates decorative food displays.

Checks the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure standards are met.

Checks the quantity and quality of received products.

Checking stock levels and ordering supplies

Trains less skilled kitchen staff in Thai culinary arts.

Determines production schedules and staff requirements to ensure timely delivery of services.

Follows standards and regulations regarding sanitary practices.

Maintains high standards of quality control, hygiene, health, and safety.
Minimum Requirements

At least 24 months of experience in any occupation demonstrating Thai cooking expertise (equivalent to at least two years of practical Thai culinary experience).

Demonstrated knowledge of authentic Thai ingredients, recipes, cooking techniques, and food preparation methods.

Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
