Kitchen Manager – New Restaurant Opening at Coyote Trails Golf Course
Coyote Trails Golf Course is opening a new restaurant and looking for a Kitchen Manager to help build the kitchen from the ground up.
This is a fresh start, not a takeover of someone else’s broken system. We are opening the doors with a clean slate, a new direction, and an opportunity for the right person to help shape the food, systems, culture, and execution from day one.
This is not a massive kitchen or corporate restaurant setup. The kitchen is approximately 400 square feet, so we need someone who can work smart, stay organized, and execute without needing to be babysat. The right person will be independent, motivated, and ready to take ownership of the food, systems, numbers, and guest experience.
Because this is a new restaurant opening, there is room for menu input and creativity. We are looking for someone who wants to excel and finally flex the skills, ideas, and food execution they may not have been allowed to show somewhere else. The menu will be blue-collar, approachable, and built around food people actually want to come back for. Nothing overcomplicated. Just good food, done consistently, with pride.
This is also a chance for the right Kitchen Manager to build a name for themselves in the community. The golf course is surrounded by a 55-and-older community, so social skills matter. This position is not just about cooking behind the line. The Kitchen Manager will help build relationships with regulars, support events, golf outings, parties, and community gatherings, and become a recognizable part of the restaurant’s growth and reputation.
Responsibilities include:
- Helping launch a new restaurant kitchen
- Managing daily kitchen operations
- Executing consistent, quality food
- Inventory control and ordering
- Food cost and waste control
- Scheduling kitchen staff
- Hiring, training, and managing employees as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Helping develop and execute a simple, profitable menu
- Supporting events, parties, and golf course functions
- Providing strong guest service and community interaction
- Building systems that help the kitchen grow the right way
We do not babysit. We are looking for someone who can think ahead, solve problems, stay accountable, and lead by example. The staff will be minimal because the space is not large, but the responsibility is real.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has been held back, overlooked, or stuck in a place where they were not allowed to show what they could really do. If you have pride, discipline, creativity, and the ability to execute numbers, this could be the fresh start you have been looking for.
Pay depends on experience, execution, and ability to manage the operation successfully.
If you can run a small kitchen, make great food, control costs, build regulars, and help launch a new community-driven restaurant at Coyote Trails Golf Course, we want to hear from you.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
