Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing individualized care plans for patients across the outpatient setting.
- Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques and modalities under supervision
- Monitor patient progress and document clinical assessments accurately in accordance with clinical documentation standards and medical documentation protocols
- Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions
- Support discharge planning by preparing reports on patient progress and recommending appropriate follow-up therapies or interventions
- Provide patient education on physiotherapy techniques, injury prevention, and activity modifications tailored to individual needs
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practices
- Proficiency in clinical assessment documentation and adherence to medical documentation standards
- Experience with outpatient clinics is highly desirable
- Familiarity with orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and care plans for diverse patient populations
- Ability to operate medical equipment safely and efficiently during therapy sessions
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients effectively

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
