Job Summary
The Warehouse Associate/ Class B CDL Driver is responsible for accurately and safely receiving and storing of materials, order picking and packing, & general warehouse and tool cleaning/maintenance.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick orders from warehouse stock for safety & tool products as required.
- Maintain organizational structure of warehouse.
- Provide custodial duties as required.
- Receive all material deliveries to warehouse and pre-fab.
- Build specific products/equipment as directed.
- Practice daily “best safety practices” as directed by the company.
- Manage warehouse staging of major material/equipment for projects.
- Loading/unloading of company delivery truck.
- Receive and store deliveries from vendors and over the road trucks.
- Provide back-up driving ability on main company delivery vehicle.
- Assist with truck maintenance & scheduling repairs as needed.
- Utilize forklift for loading and unloading trucks.
- May require periodic lifting of heavy equipment (80-lbs +).
- Deliveries to jobsites whenever required.
Required Skills & Abilities
- General knowledge of electrical products & tools.
- Valid Class B CDL license required.
- Ability to operate forklift & scissor lift.
- Basic computer skills.
- The ability to constantly multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
- Judgment to know when to appropriately escalate issues up the chain of command.
- Excellent diplomatic and communication skills.
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with arms and/or hands.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee will spend their time in a warehouse environment with quiet to moderate noise level.
Experience Requirements:
- This position requires a High Scholl Diploma and/or experience by which an understanding of electrical systems and tools required has been gained and a minimum of two years of experience in electrical construction industry preferred and valid Class B CDL license and a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
